Goes great with the book! July 29, 2010 S. Elrasoul (Orange Park, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Kaplan GRE Exam 2010-2011 Premier with CD-ROM (Kaplan GRE Premier Program (W/CD)) With this book and these cards you are on the road to passing the GRE in no time. This is no perfect solution though, studying hard and practice will be what makes you succeed. These products are just helpful in getting an upper hand on the exam and gaining a bit more extra knowledge of what is to be expected. Some say these are not perfect and a waste, but trust me they will be of help and even if you do not see these words on the exam at least you have more knowledge than others. I thought they helped out a lot and I passed them on to my other friends and they love them.
Good, but not great July 25, 2010 Kelli Louie (SALT LAKE CITY, UT, US) There were some spelling errors and possibly, still not sure, some definition errors. Other than that very helpful.
Good base, but used with other sources July 16, 2010 BosEngineer I have been using these flashcards on and off now for a month and have found them very useful. However, while studying them, I have been using an online dictionary as well to hear the pronunciation of the words. In the process, I noticed that some words have multiple, unrelated definitions whereas the cards only give one of them. It may be the case that they always give you the definition that would be used in the GRE, but I find it helpful for memorization to see all fo the definitions and lump them together under that word. I was somewhat disappointed int he quality of the cards because I tried using them while exercising indoors and my sweat warped them pretty badly.
In conclusion, I think they are definitely useful if you don't want to make your own, but I wouldn't plan to use them as the sole source of vocab.
Great Shape June 24, 2010 Elisa (California, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Everything came very quickly and in great shape. Some of the pages inside the box seem to have been bit or torn but did not take away from anything. Mainly manufacturing details. Shipping and everything else was great!
GRE vocab box, great tool for refreshing you vocab May 28, 2010 Zola Matingu 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a very covenient tool to use, the first time I took it to work and during my lunch break I was able to go through some of the cards.
They have the word on one side, the definition of it on the other with an example of how it is used in a sentence.
So you can review many words any time any day wihtout too much pressure even before you start the more intense studying for the test.
