Product Description As the development debate rages on, it has been the better-organized, better-financed developer who has been winning out over neighborhood homeowners. Written by a streetwise, battle-hardened expert who has beaten developers time and again, this complete how-to guide is packed with important information on how to protect your neighborhood from outside encroachment.

| Customer Reviews: Every neighborhood needs a copy of this book! February 19, 2000 Gary R. Coover (Houston, Texas) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is by far the best book I've ever seen for existing neighborhoods confronting inappropriate development. Not just a "NIMBY" type of book, Peggy Robin reveals many unique approaches and strategies for working with (and against) all types of developers who do not have the neighborhood's best interests at heart. I cannot recommend this book too highly!
